Northern Blend Chorus and The Cowgirls to perform prior to Dairy Parade Start

The Jefferson County Dairy Parade, Friday June 5 at 7pm on Washington Street in Watertown, is excited to welcome back Northern Blend Chorus! The Cowgirls are a new performance, happening at Bad Apple Garage, prior to the start of the Dairy Parade.

Northern Blend Chorus is a long time favorite of the crowd. The women's A Capella Group performs several tunes on Washington Street in front of the NBC Broadcast Booth between Best Western Carriage House Inn and the Dulles State Office Building. Their performance begins at 6:45pm, prior to the arrival of the parade.

The CowGirls are from ShowStarters Entertainment, based in Buffalo and Rochester NY. Featuring a Stiltwalker and a Flow ground performer, they can be found at 6:30pm in the parking lot of Bad Apple Garage, who is sponsoring the entertainment. The Cowgirls will entertain the crowd until 6:45 and then head down to line up with the rest of the parade in the Watertown HIgh School Parking lot. The Cowgirls will then walk the entire parade route for the crowd to enjoy. Thank you to Bad Apple Garage for sponsoring this entry in the parade.

The Jefferson County Dairy Parade has an incredible show planned for those turning out. Nine high school marching bands are registered for the parade. Fire trucks, police cars, huge farm equipment, and lots and lots of candy and dairy products will be given out along the parade route. The Jefferson County Dairy Princewss will have a milk refreshment station at the Stewarts shop on Washngton Street. They'll be giving out free milk while supplies last.

The Dairy Parade starts at 7pm in front of Watertown High School and ends just past the Dulles State Office Building. If you can't make it to the parade, you can watch it live on NBCwatertown.com or on TV starting at 7pm on NBC Watertown.
